Bear Creek Ranch KOA

Bear Creek Ranch KOA is one of the most comprehensive campgrounds you can find in the Canton area. It features attractions both natural and man-made, including more than 100 individual campsites. In other words, it’s the best of both worlds when it comes to camping without being too off the grid.

Campers are welcome to pitch tents, hook up an RV, or rent a furnished cabin. During your stay, you can swim in the pool, go fishing in the lake, hit the ATV trail, rent a paddleboat, or go horseback riding.

There are also plenty of outdoor sports facilities, a playground, and an 18-hole mini-golf course. The convenience facilities at Bear Creek Ranch are extensive too, including a coin-operated laundry room, Wi-Fi, restrooms, and showers.

Baylor Beach Park

Baylor Beach Park in nearby Navarre is a dynamic campground and water park combo that has been entertaining visitors for six decades! The park has grown over the years to include two lakes and nearly 150 acres of developed land. It’s family-owned and operated and is now in its fourth generation!

Springwood Lake Camp Club

Springwood Lake Camp Club is a full-service campground in East Sparta Ohio. Since 1973, this Canton Ohio campground has been providing memories for generations of campers — though it has definitely grown and developed since then.

These days, Springwood Lake includes more than 600 acres where you can enjoy activities like hunting, fishing, hiking, swimming, riding ATVs, golfing, picnicking, and exploring. The camp also has a heated swimming pool and a natural swimming pond with a beach, both of which are monitored by lifeguards.

Anglers will enjoy the 5-acre fishing lake, while families will have fun on the beach, playgrounds, and mini-golf course. The campground is close to some of Northern Ohio’s most famous tourist attractions as well, including Amish country, Historic Zoar Village, and Fort Laurens. 

Pride Valley Campgrounds

Canaan Acres is a Christian camp and conference center that offers its grounds and facilities for rent. Groups of any size are welcome to book ahead for a stay, whether it’s for a weekend or longer.

Canaan Acres has five dormitory-style cabins for visitors, as well as a cafeteria, pavilion, and group buildings. The grounds include a catch-and-release fishing pond, sand volleyball court, outdoor obstacle courses, swimming pool, mini-golf course, and hiking trails.

Towpath Trail Peace Park
